The 9th World Social Marketing Conference will take place at the University of Alicante, a dynamic and well-connected campus located just outside the city center. Alicante, the capital of Spain’s Costa Blanca, is a thriving Mediterranean city known for its stunning coastline, rich history, and excellent transport connections. With over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and an average temperature of 18°C, Alicante provides the perfect setting for an inspiring and productive conference experience.

Conference Venue – University of Alicante

The University of Alicante, located in San Vicente del Raspeig, offers a modern and accessible venue, featuring excellent conference facilities and green open spaces. Easily reachable from the city center, the campus is well-served by public transport, with the L2 (Green) metro line providing direct access via the Universitat station.

Accommodation & Travel

Accommodation is not included in your registration fee, but we are working with local hotels to secure exclusive rates for conference attendees.

Most hotels will be located in downtown Alicante, ensuring easy access to both the city’s attractions and the conference venue via the L2 metro line (Mercat stop to Universitat stop, ~20 mins).

We encourage attendees to use public transport where possible to reduce environmental impact. If you are arranging your own accommodation, we recommend choosing a hotel near Mercat metro station for convenient access to the venue.

Flexible Booking Policy: cancellation free of charge up to 30 days before arrival (3 October). After this date, all bookings become non-refundable.
