CALL FOR ABSTRACTS CLOSED

If you have a great case study, piece of research or on-going project you want to share with the behaviour change community then we encourage you to submit an abstract to the conference. Are you working on prorammes trying to change behaviours for the better? Are you using marketing or communication as a part of that? If yes then we want to hear from you!

Help inspire others, share knowledge and drive forward best practice in Social Marketing by sharing your work at NASMC 2024.

Making a submission is easy

The conference committee are inviting oral presentation and poster presentation proposals.

Submissions from; NGO’s, Government and government agencies, academic staff, students, the not for profit sector, social enterprises, and the for-profit sector are welcome under any of the following two submission types.

  1. Oral presentations (20 minutes)
  2. Poster presentations (10 minutes + physical poster display space at the event)

Guidance is provided below to help make your submission as easy as possible.

What happens if my submission is accepted?

  • Oral presentation submissions will be granted a 20 minute time-slot in the conference
  • Accepted poster submissions will be granted a 10-minute presentation time-slot at the conference and place to display their work at the event within the main networking areas

Conference tracks

The NASMC conference organising committee would be delighted to receive submissions with a clear Social Marketing or behaviour change perspective focused on any of the following tracks;

  1. Public Health, Healthcare, and Determinants of Health
  2. Environmental Sustainability, One Health, and Emergency Settings
  3. Social Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Stigma
  4. Business for Social Good, Innovative Partnerships, and Commercial Determinants of Health
  5. Research Methodologies
  6. Advancing Social Marketing Theory & Thought

How do I make a submission?

STEP 1: Please take a moment to download and read the call for papers document and expanded track descriptions.

The document linked below provides a clear overview of what you will need to prepare ahead of making your submission via the abstract submission portal. It also provides expanded overviews of each track.

STEP 2: Prepare your submission offline.

Using the guidance in the expanded tracks document we advise you prepare an offline copy of your submission to speed up submitting it to the portal when you are ready.

STEP 3: Once your offline submission is complete, follow the 'MAKE A SUBMISSION' link below and create a user account on Proposal Space

It is best that the person who is most likely to manage correspondence and planning for this abstract (if accepted) do this so that they receive future email correspondence about their submission. Extra presenter and full author contacts for your submission can be added within Proposal Space as part of your submission.

STEP 4: Complete your submission details within Proposal Space and upload your abstract document

Ensure that the most accurate and complete information is provided in Proposal Space to accompany your submission document.

 

The conference aims to maintain a high quality of work presented at the conference all submissions will be subject to blind peer review by at least two reviewers. Final acceptance decisions will be made by the overall review chairs.
